Opening its valuable membership benefits to its Certified Professionals, the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association has unveiled a new membership category.
The FNGLA Certified Individual membership category is open to eligible industry nursery/landscape professionals who hold and maintain at least one of the Association's professional certifications.
FNGLA membership is traditionally business-based, meaning the company is the member, with FNGLA benefits open to each company employee.
“We’re delighted to see this new category as certified pros now have an opportunity to join FNGLA as individual members, when otherwise they’re unable because their company, for whatever reason, is not an FNGLA member,” says Merry Mott, director of certification and career development.
FNGLA Membership Manager Sandra Pellerin expressed her delight in the new membership category. “The aim of this new membership category is to open many more of our industry’s best and brightest to the enjoyment and pride of being an FNGLA member,” says Pellerin.
Pellerin noted this membership cannot be used as a substitute for a business or company otherwise qualified to be an organization member, nor can a business owner of a company be a certified member in lieu of an organization membership.
