FNGLA Certifications: Coronavirus Update

March 18, 2020

As we all adjust to an ever-changing world, FNGLA is here to help you find the information you need for yourself, your family and your workplace.

While FNGLA has implemented reduced person-to-person interaction, rest assured its certifications are still operating and staff is available to you via phone and e-mail.

Landscape certification training and testing scheduled for March, April and May has been rescheduled beginning in June. Check out FNGLA's calendar

FCHP and FCLC exams are still available 24/7 online. And, Online FCHP Training is available from Magnolia Grex.

For those who have not yet completed their online exams and need extra time, you can request an extension at no charge.

We are taking orders and shipping manuals to assist you in your goals to add certification to your professional development.

We are also extending the renewal date for those whose certifications expire on March 31. Those individuals will be extended through June 30, 2020 and the late fee will be waived. If you still need CEUs, FNGLA is pleased to recognize a number of online CEU options.

In addition to free articles written by University of Florida IFAS personnel, you can take advantage of the Continuing Education University or the Florida-Friendly LandscapingTM CEU Program. The newest offerings include Leadership Training from John Kennedy and a series of Irrigation Courses from Kurt Thompson at IrriTech Training

Another exciting change is the lifting of the restriction allowing only 4 CEUs per day. CEUs are now awarded hour-for-hour.

Please reach out to Gary or Merry at FNGLA with any questions on your FNGLA Certification!
