Professional Development Abounds for Landscape Design Pros at The Landscape Show

August 1, 2018

Professional development abounds for landscape design professionals at The Landscape Show in Orlando.  Each day offers a unique design-focused program to enhance your design skills or provide a pathway to certification.

Those interested in FNGLA’s Certified Landscape Designer (FCLD) certification can get the inside scoop at The 2018 Landscape Show on how to prepare for this prestigious certification.

The FNGLA Certified Landscape Designer Review Course takes place Saturday, Oct. 6.

Steve Fairtrace, FCLD, who will serve as the workshop speaker, has assembled a team of certified professionals to share insights, strategies and examples to guide attendees in the certification process.

Also planned for The Landscape Show is a Basic Drafting and Design workshop Thursday, October 4, which will provide the fundamentals of speed graphics, bold symbols, and high-speed title blocks. This full-day class teaches how to package a complete presentation.

Another option for those looking to brush up on landscape design fundamentals is the workshop, Profitable Planting Design, Shrubs, Trees and Seasonal Color planned for Friday, October 5. This workshop will offer a hands-on approach to designing and installing planting beds of all shapes and sizes.  The full day class also includes a final project where participants create a hand-rendered plan and elevation views of planting beds as well as cost estimating for profit.

Visit The Landscape Show's website for a full line-up of upcoming events planned for the Orlando trade show.
