Image this scenario: You're a homeowner looking for someone to cut your grass -- but you want someone qualified; someone who won't knuckle your Crape Myrtle, or douse your lawn in erroneous amounts of fertilizer. To whom do you turn?
FNGLA has created a 'Find a Professional' function in an effort to answer this call. The feature asks user to enter a Florida zip code for which they'd like to locate services, then returns a clickable list of FNGLA members and Certified professionals within the area.
The search function, located on www.FloridaGardening.org, was created by FNGLA as a resource to connect Florida's landscape industry directly to end users in need of their services.
The search function helps consumers connect with landscape professionals -- design, maintenance, contractors -- and, even their local independent garden centers.
FloridaGardening.org is operated by the Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association as a way to promote its members and certified professionals to consumers. The site also endeavors to foster a love of gardening, and highlight the importance of hiring qualified landscape professionals.
