Jennifer Parrish
A Broward County native, Jennifer Parrish grew up in Florida’s nursery industry. A University of Florida graduate who studied horticulture and agribusiness, Jennifer has a deep industry knowledge base, which is built upon the solid foundation she earned early on working summers at her parents’ business, Parrish Nursery.
Jennifer has worked for roughly the past 15 years as the crop insurance administrator for Farm Credit of Central Florida. An active and longtime FNGLA cheerleader, Jennifer has served in nearly every chapter leadership role over the years including Action Chapter president, vice president, and secretary/treasurer.
Jennifer has also volunteered her time and talents to the association in the past as an alternate representative to the Board of Directors, a member of the Membership and Marketing Committee, a member of the Short Course Planning Committee (an early version of FNGLA's Knowledge College), a member of the National Horticulture Foundation's scholarship selection committee, and as a state representative for both the Action Chapter and the FNGLA Foliage Division.
In 2011, Jennifer was honored with the FNGLA/Farm Credit Young Nursery Professional of the Year award for her dedicated and wide-ranging service to the association. She is also a 2017 recipient of the Action Chapter Batson Award.
