Jeff DeMott

Jeff DeMott has been heavily invested in the nursery industry for much of his life, as his early experience began at the South Florida wholesale nursery, Redland Nursery, which his parents, John and Carolyn DeMott, started in 1971.

Today, Jeff serves as president of Redland Nursery and as executive vice president at Alpha Foliage. Jeff’s service to FNGLA spans more than a decade, with leadership roles within FNGLA’s Miami-Dade Chapter. He currently serves as both a chapter board member and president.

Jeff also commits his time to serve other worthy industry groups such as the Dade County Farm Bureau, as a board member, and the UF/IFAS Tropical Research and Education Center, as an advisory board member. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Rollins College.
