Appenticeship - For Employers

Apprenticeship programs have a long history of providing a solution for recruiting, training and retaining top-tier talent. They enable employers to apply industry standards in training which can increase productivity and improve the quality of their workforce.

FNGLA registered its Nursery & Landscape Apprenticeship program and invites its members to participate. FNGLA works with employers to set up their programs and assist in monitoring the progress of their apprentices. FNGLA files all necessary reports with the Florida Department of Education Apprenticeship Section and the U.S. Department of Labor.

Employers who enroll in FNGLA’s Nursery & Landscape Apprenticeship program can attract and retain more highly qualified employees through on-the-job training, classroom instruction, and guaranteed wage structures. This builds employee loyalty, reduces training costs, and improves productivity.
