This is an excellent opportunity to update your TURFGRASS DIAGNOSTICS skills. Dr. Phil Harmon will be providing the turfgrass training and will be addressing a new and serious disease fo St. Augustine, Floratam, along with other potential turfgrass diseases.

This training is also perfect for spray technicians - on the frontline to recognize turfgrass problems before they become serious.

This training will provide 4.0 FDACS and FNGLA CEUs:

2.0 CEUs Core training (Ch. 482 and Ch. 487)

Part 1:  Interpretation of labels emphasizing correct pest identification, measuring areas and determining application percentages and rates with hands-on client scenarios

Part 2: Importance of correct pest identification, pesticide resistance, pesticide mode of action and planning a pesticide program for mode of action rotation

2.0 CEUs Turfgrass Training (Ch 482 LCLM, LLO, L&O and Ch. 487 O&T)

Part 1: Turfgrass problems including pests and diseases and how to determine the correct diagnosis and corrective action

Part 2: Identification, management and a research update of Sugarcane Mosaic Virus of

St. Augustinegrass to assist landscape maintenance professionals identify and communicate this new disease more accurately with personnel and clients, and an overview of the Rapid Turfgrass Diagnostic Service provided by UF/IFAS Turfgrass Science Program and how this service can help turfgrass managers..
