Class Overview: The class will teach the attendees about the biology of subtropical trees in their native hammocks, including soils, rainfall, USDA Hardiness Zones along with flowering times and tree heights in natural and artificial settings. Additionally the class is designed to show the attendees the trees in 10 and 25 gallon pots just as they would be bought for installation. The attendees will learn the differences between the subtropical trees and should be able to identify and use 25 different native subtropical trees at the end of the four-hour course.
