Dr. Ozores-Hampton’s areas of specialization include inorganic (fertilizers) and organic (organic amendments) nutrient management, plant-soil nutrient cycling, and mineral nutrition; and sustainable management and control techniques for soil diseases, nematodes, and weeds in conventional and organic cropping production systems. Dr. Ozores-Hampton has been an Editor of the Florida Tomato Institute Proceedings and consultant editor of HortScience, Sustainable AgricultureTM and Compost Science and Utilization. She published more than 60 refereed research publications, 10 book chapters and 150 non-refereed extension publications. During her tenure at the University of Florida, her grants from external and internal sources total more than $1.5 million and a 1 million dollars in In-kind contributions from the vegetable industry.
