In this session you will learn to identify the most important fungi that impact trees and your safety.

The ‘How-To’ of Tree ID - Stan Rosenthal - Big Bend Forestry

In this session you will learn how to identify common and uncommon trees of north Florida.  PowerPoint and live samples will be utilized to give key identification characteristics.

Wood Decay, Now What? - Dr. Andrew Lloyd - Bartlett Tree Care

In this session you will learn what to do when you find signs or symptoms of one of the "seven deadly fungi".

What is the Risk?  Indoor – Chris Francis - Chris Francis Tree Care

We will walk you through the task of assessing tree risk and options for mitigation.  Risk assessment can be very basic (drive-by), routine (pre-climb inspection), or as advanced as you can dream.  The procedure, tools, and thought process will be examined.  Options will be explored for making situations safer and when it is appropriate to do nothing at all.
